The National Museum of Ireland invite you to 'Caretakers of Ireland's Cultural Heritage' on the 21 November at 6pm at the Archaeology museum on Kildare Street, Dublin 2.

Join the discussion about the past and future roles of museums in Ireland. To mark the passing 140 years ago of the 1877 Dublin Science and Art Museum Act, Raghnall Ó Floinn, director of the National Museum of Ireland and Brian Crowley, curator of the Pearse Museum and former chair of the Irish Museums Association, will be amongst the panel who will discuss the origin and legacy of this Act in protecting and developing public engagement with Ireland's cultural heritage.
