A national health service? Exploring how museums can improve our wellbeing, NMI, Dublin (Conference)

The National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks is holding a special one-day conference on the 4 November 2017 to mark the Museum's 20 year anniversary at Collins Barracks, exploring the social impact of museums and the role that they can play in the community.

'A national health service? Exploring how museums can improve our wellbeing' will be held Saturday 4th November 2017 from 10am-4pm. Speakers will include Laura Bedford, of the National Alliance for Museums, Health & Wellbeing, UK, Professor Desmond O'Neill, Tallaght Hospital and artist Joe Caslin, whose mural, The Volunteers is currently on display in Clarke Square, Collins Barracks.
