The board of directors leads and directs the activities of the IMA. While delegating responsibility to the director of operations to direct and manage the day to day business of the organisation, the board directors are required to chair and sit on committees, actively supporting and assisting the work of the association.

The board of directors is drawn from the IMA membership and those elected will serve an initial three-year term, commencing March 2017. Meetings take place approximately every 6-8 weeks in Dublin and board directors are required to be present in person.

This role is not remunerated.
