Posted: Tuesday, 22 July 2014

The Culture and Heritage Studies programme at the National Print Museum is an opportunity to learn and train on site at a museum located in a nineteenth-century barracks. There are two main aims for each learner on the course: to become a tour guide at the museum and to achieve a FETAC level 5 Common Award in Culture and Heritage Studies.

The main outcomes for the course are placement in employment or in further education. Our modules are aimed at educating learners in the most up-to-date museum and heritage skills, policies and frameworks, while building on key practical skills such as communication and reception studies which are highly sought after in all sectors.
