A hundred objects, a hundred stories - with Fintan O'Toole (IMA/ICOM Lecture)

Posted: Wednesday, 19 June 2013

Fintan O'Toole, author and columnist, will give a special lecture based on his book A History of Ireland in 100 Objects - featuring 100 museum objects that chart the history of Ireland from prehistory to today. The book features articles from the Irish Times and is produced together with the Royal Irish Academy and National Museum of Ireland.

This is a joint IMA and ICOM event, hosted by the Waterford Museum of Treasures. The evening will begin with some plainchant performed in the 13th century Choristers' Hall in the Medieval Museum by the present day choristers of Christ Church Cathedral.
