The Irish Heritage Trust and Fota House are committed to creating innovative learning experiences for teenagers in the heritage environment. They are currently adding to their teacher's web resource www.fotalearningzone.ie and are looking for an intern to work on an exciting project to develop some new web content to be launched in the autumn.
This project will feature interactive software linked to an onsite workshop for secondary school students using Active Inspire LRS s and would be an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain valuable work experience in the heritage sector. The post is part time and the duration is for six weeks from 18 July 2011 and will be primarily based in the Irish Heritage Trust offices in Dublin and occasionally in Fota House in Cork. This is an unpaid internship however travel expenses in the Dublin area and to Cork will be provided.
