Archaeological Strategy Plan (Appeal)

Posted: Monday, 06 June 2011

The Archaeological Strategy Plan (ASP) committee, are asking for views from the museums sector on both challenges and solutions for the future of Irish archaeology. Earlier this year there was an open meeting in the Heritage Council of the archaeological profession to discuss the crisis facing the sector.

A national ASP is being drawn up from that meeting and it is agreed that it should be representative of all aspects of archaeology. Therefore, this is the opportunity for museums professionals to contribute to the Archaeological Strategy Plan (ASP) process.
