Sir Alfred Beit Research Bursary has issued a call for applications to the award for postgraduate studies in the Fine Arts in Ireland. The deadline for receipt of applications, by email, is 17:00, 8 July 2019.
The Alfred Beit Foundation was established to promote and further the advancement of education in the Fine Arts in Ireland.
The aim of the bursary is to support and assist postgraduate students, art practitioners and researchers in carrying on research in the practice and history of the Fine Arts in Ireland.
One bursary will be awarded and is available to full-time postgraduate students, studying in any third level institution in Ireland. Applications must be made by the individual student and should demonstrate excellence in historical context and educational value.
The value of the bursary is €2,000, and the award holder will be provided with the opportunity to avail of a study space on an occasional basis at Russborough and with access to some of the collections.
Successful applicants will be required to acknowledge receipt of the bursary, be available for any reasonable publicity that the Foundation considers to be appropriate, and to deliver a seminar at Russborough disseminating the results of their research.

Applicants are required to complete and submit an application form, accompanied by an up to date CV and a written reference from an appropriately qualified person. The deadline for receipt of applications, by email, is Monday 8th of July 2019 at 5.00pm to: email@example.com
The panel's decision is final. There is no right of appeal. The bursary is for one year only and not renewable. Successful applicants may not reapply in subsequent years.
