The Hunt Museum, Limerick, have announced details of their Summer Exhibition Symposium to be held on the 8 June, 10:00 - 15:30.
The Summer 2019 exhibition will present selected artworks by Sir John Lavery (1856-1941) and Walter Frederick Osborne (1859-1903), two of the foremost Irish artists of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
The Symposium will take place on Saturday June 8th with a line-up of speakers that includes established and emerging art historians. Dr Kathryn Milligan, Gearóid Arthur Hayes and Prof. Kenneth McConkey are the speakers on the day. The day will conclude with a speakers panel discussion to be chaired by Dr Róisín Kennedy.
Early bird tickets end 19 May: €40, afterwards €50. Symposium tickets include exhibition entrance fee: €10.
