The IMA supports best practice in Irish museums in a number of ways. Our annual conference showcases local and international trends in the best museums can offer. Our Museum Practitioner’s Forum each July is an opportunity for exchange of ideas, particularly in terms of education and outreach projects.
Individual projects demonstrating best practice are published in our journal Museum Ireland and a sample of projects are on our website.
